Happy Friday Loves! Welcome to the first ever Coffee Chit Chat here on Lonestar Persuasion! This will be a space (post) to update y’all on all the crazy (or not so crazy) happenings in my life. Personal updates, blog happenings, photos, etc. So pour yourself a glass of wine, tea, coffee, wheatgrass shot, or whatever you so desire and let’s chat.
I’ve moved into a gorgeous new apartment with my best friend, TCU has won their first football game GO FROGS! On that note senior year is in full swing! We’re three weeks into the semester and I can’t believe how fast time is flying! It’s exciting and yet extremely daunting to know that I’m closing in on my final days of undergrad (no consensus yet on what post grad will hold.) One of my favorite parts about school starting again is catching up with all my friends! I’ve had more chai lattes than I can count lately and I’m not complaining! Grabbing a cup of coffee with friends is my absolute favorite!
You may have noticed that Lonestar Persuasion got a bit of a facelift. I’ve been working on revamping not only this site, but my social media look and presence. A new logo is in the works (eeeep!) And I’ve been shopping and shooting non-stop to try and build up some content for the next few months and I really hope that y’all will love it as much as I do!
As we near mid September I am full steam ahead with my fall fashion shopping, we’re talking sweaters, hats, boots, scarves, now I’m just waiting on Texas weather to catch up with my fashion choices. Fortunately I get to do a bit of traveling at the end of the month, I’ll be heading up to Michigan not only for one of my best friends weddings but to visit family and hopefully enjoy a bit of cooler weather. Don’t worry, a pumpkin patch trip is definitely on the schedule.
Speaking of fall fashion, if you’re in the market for a pair of Bean Boots, now is definitely the time to pull the trigger, I don’t mean to sound the alarm but these things go fast and the waitlist can be brutal (I waited 4 months before I got mine) so the time to act is now.
