After 3 years of wearing Flutterhabit lashes, I figure it’s time to share my thoughts. We love a DIY and we love saving money, and Flutterhabit ticks both those boxes. Keep reading for a Flutterhabit tutorial where I am giving you all my best tips & tricks to get salon-worthy lashes at home.
What are Flutterhabit Lashes?
Flutterhabit lashes are faux-mink (cruelty free!) lashes you apply underneath the lashline. This practice isn’t new and makeup artists have done it for YEARS, Flutterhabit just made it an easy subscription. Available in 5 styles (The Original, The Wink, The Flirt, The Shorties & The Happy Medium) there is a style for everyone. I personally wear The Flirt because I am ALL about a big fluffy lash.
One of my favorite things about using Flutterhabit lashes is having total control over when I want to reapply or change out my lashes. Back when I was doing extensions it was such a hassle to do fills and work out appointments. Flutterhabit is on my time.
How To Apply Flutterhabit Lashes
Disclaimer, give yourself some grace and patience when you’re first starting out with these. Don’t try and apply them for the first time when you’re in a time crunch and just figure out what works best for you.
I have a video walking you through how I apply these lashes to get you started!
Frequently Asked Questions
How Long do Flutterhabit Lashes Last?
Flutterhabit Lashes last 3-6 days depending on the person and your wear and tear! Personally, I get about 6 days of solid wear out of mine. When I’m super active and sweaty though I usually get about 4-5 days. To prolong wear you just want to make sure that you are keeping them nice and dry.
Do Flutterhabit Lashes Damage Your Natural Lashes?
Personally, I have not had any damage to my natural lashes. It’s important to note that you are applying these directly to your lashes, so if you are not gentle when it comes to removal you might cause some breakage or pull out some lashes.
Can You Wear Makeup With Flutterhabit Lashes?
Hell yeah! I do full on eye looks and eyeliner with mine! You just need to be careful with removal. I use the Young Living Seedlings Baby Wipes to take off my makeup and they work perfectly without messing with my Flutterhabit lashes.
Can You Wear Eye Cream with Flutterhabit Lashes?
I do! Just make sure you don’t have product getting on the glue so it doesn’t loosen them up.
How Do You Take Off Flutterhabit Lashes?
I use a mix of cleansing oil and micellar water! The cleansing oil loosens them up and then I just use Micellar water on a cotton round to soak off the rest.
Can you Swim with Flutterhabit Lashes?
I wouldn’t? I think it would be way weirder for half your lash to just fall off than to just go with some “sparser” looking lashes for your water activities.
How much do Flutterhabit Lashes cost?
I do the subscription which is 6 sets of lashes monthly for $29.99 (this applies to all styles). I also have 10% off for you! You can grab your discounted lashes with this link!
I truly can’t recommend these lashes enough and I can’t wait for you to try them! Leave a comment and tell me what style you grabbed!
