Unboxing: Goodbeing December 2018 Box Review

I LOVE subscription boxes. I’ve discovered some of my favorite products by way of subscription boxes, so I really like testing out and trying different boxes. Once I made the decision to go completely nontoxic and green, I knew I was going to have to find cleaner options. Enter Goodbeing.

Goodbeing is a monthly subscription box “providing expertly curated healthy beauty, personal care products and natural wellness products, along with natural & organic health, wellness, sustainable living and lifestyle goods.” You can choose between a Beauty and a Lifestyle box, each of which contain 4-5 products some of which are full size and is valued at $45+. The box ships to the US and Canada for $24.95/month to the US and $33.95/month to Canada.

Goodbeing December 2018 Box

The Goodbeing December box has five products, one makeup product, and four body/skincare products, three of which are full-size. Altogether the box is valued at $83.85 ($58.90 in savings!) So let’s break it down…

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Wrinkle Spot Treatment

One of the three full size products, The MyChelle Wrinkle Spot is a Tri-Peptide blend of anti-aging Pentapeptide-18, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, and Acetyl Hexapeptide-30, and soothing fruit extracts to help smooth and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. At $36 for .27 oz, this is one of the higher value products included.

Jivi Magnesium Body Butter

This is another one of the full-size products included and y’all, this stuff legit smells like whipped chocolate. It feels amazing, it smells amazing, and I love magnesium body butter, so I’m pretty excited about this product. If you haven’t heard of magnesium infused products, you’re missing out, better sleep, bone health, fewer headaches and migraines, less stress and anxiety, decreased inflammation, the list goes on and on. This full-size tin is valued at $18 and it is worth every penny.

Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes

The little beauty bits that are included in subscription boxes are some of my favorite things, and honestly, I’m ok with it. I haven’ tried anything from Ursa major yet either so these were a welcome addition to the box. I’m planning on throwing these in my carry on for my upcoming travels so I’ll keep you updated on my thoughts! You can grab a pack of 20 for $24.

Bonnie Bubble Bath in Lavender & Chamomile

I’m SO excited to have a clean bubble bath to try. Bubble baths were one of the hardest things for me to give up when I went fragrance/toxin/chemical nastiness free and so far I haven’t been able to find one that I like so maybe this will be it! At $18 this would be a fantastic product to switch to if you’re looking to detox your life.

Uniful Beauty Creamy Concealer

One thing about Goodbeing that I think puts it above the rest is the option to select some of the products that go in your box (from a curated selection), once you enroll, you get an email saying selections are open and voila! choices!

This concealer was one of the items I chose to have included in my box. This is the last of the full-size products, valued at $28. I don’t usually use potted concealers, but I was running low on my backstock of conventional concealer so I grabbed one of these to have on hand to make the ditch and switch process a little easier.

Final Thoughts

For under $25 I think this is a fantastic way to try out new products, especially if you’re trying to find things to replace your conventional products like I am.  Click here for more info or to grab your own box, I promise you won’t regret it.
